Travel and Breakdown Insurance

We recommend that you have sufficient travel insurance for the period of your stay. This is a very cheap but invaluable cover for those unforeseen circumstances. Vehicle breakdown cover is also advisable, as motorway breakdowns are particularly expensive and the repatriation of your vehicle to the UK can cost hundreds, if not thousands of pounds. A number of companies provide this cover, including the AA, RAC and Green Flag.

Disclaimer

We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations beyond our control. This is to include weather delays, port closures and employee strikes. Any junior anglers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and we cannot be held responsible for their welfare or safety. We cannot guarantee that you will catch fish on your visit, but the fish are definitely in there!

Weapons

No weapons of any description are allowed on our lake or grounds and you will be asked to leave if this rule is ignored.

Boats

There is a boat stored at the lake, but this is for the sole use of the bailiffs when necessary, e.g. for rescuing snagged fish and is strictly not to be used by anglers.

Pine Lodge

The swim at Pine Lodge (Peg 1) is reserved for anglers who have exclusively booked Pine Lodge - we would politely ask anglers to refrain from using this swim, unless they have booked Pine Lodge, or have booked the exclusive use of the whole lake.
We trust you will abide by our terms and conditions which are in force to ensure you have a safe and pleasant stay with us. A copy of these rules will be sent with your final booking confirmation, as well as displayed on our website.
The refundable deposit will be refunded two weeks after anglers have left the lake. If the fishery rules have been broken (including the lake and facilities not being left clean and tidy), the deposit may not be refunded.

Final Payment or Cancellation

The balance of payment for your holiday must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. If the balance is not received due to cancellation by the due date, we reserve the right to levy cancellation charges as noted below:
