BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Provisional bookings should be made by phone or email (bookings@threeislandslake.com) to confirm whether spaces are available. We would expect to receive your refundable deposit cheque of £50 per person (£300 for exclusive use of the lake, or full payment if day-fishing) within 10 working days, accompanied with a signed booking form which will be sent by post or email. Once we receive the refundable deposit and booking form, this will secure your date at Three Islands Lake. The final balance will need to be paid by cheque 8 weeks before your arrival date.
To find out if the date you require is available you can make a booking enquiry online:
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that you have sufficient travel insurance for the period of your stay. This is a very cheap but invaluable cover for those unforeseen circumstances. Breakdown cover is advisable as motorway breakdowns are particularly expensive and the repatriation of your vehicle and any trailer to the UK can cost hundreds, if not thousands of pounds.
DISCLAIMER
We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations beyond our control. This is to include weather delays, port closures, and employee strikes. Any junior anglers under the age of 16 are to accompanied by an adult at all times and we cannot be held responsible for their welfare or safety. We cannot guarantee that you will catch fish on your visit, but the fish are definitely in there.
WEAPONS
No weapons of any description are allowed on our lake or grounds and you will be asked to leave if this rule is ignored.
BOATS
There is a boat stored at the lake, but this is for the use of the bailiffs when necessary, for rescuing any snagged fish for example and is strictly not to be used by anglers.
PINE LODGE
The swim at Pine Lodge (Peg 1) is reserved for anglers who have exclusively booked Pine Lodge - we would politely ask anglers to refrain from using this swim, unless they have booked Pine Lodge, or have booked the exclusive use of the whole lake.
We hope you will abide by our terms and conditions which are in force to ensure you have a safe and pleasant stay with us. A copy of these rules will be sent with your final booking confirmation, as well as displayed on our website.
The refundable deposit will be refunded two weeks after the anglers have left the lake. If the fishery rules have been broken, the deposit will not be refunded, which includes the lake and facilities are left clean and tidy.
FINAL PAYMENT OR CANCELLATIONThe balance of payment for your holiday must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. If the balance is not received due to cancellation by the due date we reserve the right to levy cancellation charges as noted below:
- At least eight weeks before departure – the deposit will be forfeited
- Less than eight weeks before departure, the whole of the balance will become payable.
COST
The price of your holiday is a fixed and agreed price and will not increase for more popular dates during the season. However we reserve the right to make increases due to any unforeseen changes to government taxes, e.g. VAT.
PASSPORT AND HEALTH COVER
All travellers should ensure that they hold a 10 year British Passport, which is valid at least 3 months beyond their travel date. Also, under European Law, you are required to carry a stamped E111 form, available from your local post office.
